When Jodi boards the plane in Vancouver, B.C. with her friend, Lexie, she can't believe she is going to the vast and exciting Last Frontier state of Alaska, and even before the plane lands, she finds mystery and intrigue. The two girls stay with Lexie's aunt and uncle in Anchorage and explore the beautiful state from the air and on the land. Yet danger seems to lurk in every corner, starting with an Inuit girl they meet and a painting she gives Jodi that her father painted.
